More than 200 Al-Shabaab terrorists have been killed in Somalia

Somali National Army (SNA) forces have killed more than 200 al-Shabaab terrorists in Bulaburt district in central Somalia. SNA gave this information on Monday. According to state media, the terrorists planned the attack and blocked the road between Beledven and Bulabarde districts. Meanwhile, the forces received timely intelligence and foiled the terrorist attack on Sunday, killing such a large number of terrorists.

Al-Shabaab militants intend to block the road between the towns of Bula-Barde and Beledwen, Somali News Agency reported. But they miscalculated and clashed with the army. Somali forces backed by pro-government militias have liberated more than 40 villages and killed more than 500 al-Shabaab militants in operations in central Somalia over the past three weeks. Al-Shabaab, a terrorist group, has been defeated by the Somali government and African Union forces in recent months, but still controls parts of southern and central Somalia.

Bangladesh’s Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested five people, including the chief financier of a new terror outfit. Many young people, including Kamila, have gone from different parts of the country to join this organization. They were arrested from Jatrabari and Keraniganj areas of the capital. According to RAB, the arrested financier has been identified as MD Habibullah Habib (32). Among those arrested are Neymat Ullah (43), Mohammad Hussain (22), Rakib Hasnat (28) and Mohammad Saiful Islam. Three of them left their homes in the name of Hijrat. RAB said five radical pamphlets, around 300 leaflets and five bags were seized from the arrested persons. RAB also revealed how the arrested persons were inciting others towards terrorism. The RAB claimed that Habibullah, who was arrested, used to lead namaz at Quba Masjid in Khumila. Apart from this he used to teach in Madrasa. He joined ‘Jamaatul Ansar Fil Hind Sharqiya’ in 2020 by Nemat Ullah. He is one of the main financiers of the organization.
